Point Curlew Holiday Park HAS CHANGED ITS NAME TO ATLANTIC BAYS HOLIDAY PARK is situated just two miles from the beautiful town of PADSTOW and 10 miles from NEWQUAY. Buses run frequently from outside the campsite to many local areas including some of the beaches.
The site has a family friendly atmosphere, with ample space for children to play,a large play park and a well stocked licensed shop. There are brand new laundry facilities on site and a take away van will be open for the main holidays.
There are many places to eat out locally, two pubs,a surf shop,grocery stores,fish and chip shop and bakers in St Merryn 1/2 a mile away.
The farmers arms does a great carvery every night for £6.50 and the Cornish is now owned by Rick Stein.
The clubhouse facilities are undergoing refurbishment and is currently closed but a temporary bar is under way for the holidays.

This EXTENDED chalet has just been refurbished to a high standard and is rated as a 4 sun chalet by the site,the highest rating for a chalet.
PLEASE NOTE THE CHALETS LOOK THE SAME SIZE IN PHOTOS SO WHEN COMPARING PRICES PLEASE ASK IF IT HAS BEEN EXTENDED.
The chalet is fully insulated and there are electric wall heaters for the colder weather.
This fully furnished chalet sleeps four but there is plenty of room for a travel cot or put me up bed in the lounge.There is a double bedroom and 2nd bedroom with bunkbeds.There is a brand new fully equiped kitchen with double oven and microwave,a dining area with table and chairs with patio doors leading onto a new decked area with picnic bench.A shower room,and seperate lounge which the smaller chalets do not have, with digital tv.
Quilts and pillows are provided but you will need to bring your own covers and towels.
No pets are allowed on site at present.
PLACES TO VISIT
Visit reception to get an up to date list of discounts available for local
bike hire etc available to you for your stay at point curlew.
There are seven sandy beaches nearby [seven bays for seven days]
HARLYN BAY has a great surf school and pub with live bands.
CONSTANTINE BAY is one of the best surfing beaches around.
BOOBIES BAY has great rock pools for kids to play in.
PORTHCOTHAN BAY is a great flat family beach.
TREYARNON BAY is another great family beach with a ymca and shop for meals and refreshments.
PADSTOW is 2 miles away with Rick Steins famous restaurants and fish and chips.
CAMEL TRAIL you can hire bikes from Padstow to cycle the camel trail to Wadebridge.
WATERGATE BAY is 10 minutes drive where you can visit Jamie Olivers Fifteen Restaurant or try your hand at kite surfing at the Extreme Academy.
NEWQUAY is 10 miles away which boasts many surfing beaches including Fistral Bay, a world champion surfing venue.There are lots of fun family attractions to visit including,aquarium,zoo,swimming pools and great shopping.You can get discount vouchers for the zoo from reception.
CORNWALL'S CREALY adventure park is just 5 minutes drive away,small children are free! or you can get discount vouchers from reception.
Great for indoor and outdoor activities if the weather is bad.
EDEN PROJECT is about half an hours drive and has some great live acts this year.
Merlin and Trevose golf clubs are within 5 minutes of the chalet park.
Available to rent from march 1st - jan 1st.
