The BK Bluebird Senator is a limited edition static caravan. Being a luxurious 39 x 12 gives the perfect place for a short break or an extended holiday. A real home-away-from-home, this Senator includes all of the home luxuries such as double glazing, central heating, TV, DVD and a full inventory of everyday items.
This is a beautiful caravan, which feels more like a bungalow than a caravan. There are two bedrooms, a twin and double, and facilities to sleep others in the lounge. There are doors separating the kitchen/dining area and the bedrooms. Modern and tastefully decorated. There is a large sitting room with many windows with excellent views over Lynch Cove.
Littlesea is a Haven/British Holidays site about 3 miles from Weymouth. This park is large and vast but our caravan is on the edge of the lagoon called Lynch Cove. This gives an extra special location, but still very near the facilities on site. The site has a spectacular amusement arcade and three swimming pools, 2 inside and 1 outside. There are a few choices for eateries here. There is Strikes Bar and Restaurant, which sells the Haven/British Holidays menu. In the same venue there is about half a dozen pool tables and a bowling alley. There is a bouncy castle and trampolines (for a small extra charge) outside with a table tennis table outside when the weather is nice and various play areas. Also there is a take-away chip shop for all your favourites, two bars, one that seems to be centrally around the bingo and the football, showing Sky Sports. (although this one is more open and active during the main holiday season) and the second that has shows on and other events. The second room is huge and has a great amount of seating and has a bar and a couple of kids shop either side of the bar. There are vast amounts of open space in this park, which makes it an ideal location for the dog lovers who like to walk their dogs, for walkers who like to surrounded by lots of natural beauty or for the kids to run off some of their energy.
Here are some of the local attractions, there are many more, Weymouth and the surrounding areas are worth exploring to the full.
Weymouth’s famous sandy beach – Weymouths fine Georgian seafront is an impressive backdrop to the long arc of fine, golden sand. The beach and esplanade, historic harbour, marina and nature reserve encircle the rejuvenated town centre combining the traditional and modern to create a very special place to visit - at any time of year.
Lodmoor Country Park – Pitch and Putt golf, 350 acre walking park, RSPB Nature reserve, Leisure ranch, Mini railway and a skate park.
Weymouth Sealife Centre - based at Lodmoor Country Park
Nothe Fort - Thousands of people visit the fort every year to see its architecture, displays, and special events in the courtyard. There are about 70 rooms on three levels that feature life sized models, detailed photographs, and writing about the fort. Several rooms look, smell, and feel like what life was like for the people in Weymouth during the Second World War. The fort has its own special team of model makers. There are currently more than 150 life-sized dummy figures on display. The figures below can be found at the entrance to Nothe Fort.
Deep Sea Adventure - The Deep Sea Adventure is a fascinating family attraction set in a converted Victorian Grain Warehouse. It uses animated displays, video, audio effects and computer games, to tell the story of underwater investigation and marine exploits from the 17th Century through to the most modem techniques in use today.
Brewers Quay - Amid the labyrinth of paved courtyards and cobbled streets of this redeveloped Victorian brewery nestles a unique Shopping Village packed with specialist shops and attractions. Set within the historic Hope Square, alive with cafes, bars and bistros, Brewers Quay offers a unique experience for the whole family.
The Timewalk - Inspired by Weymouth’s turbulent past and strong maritime connections, the award-winning Timewalk attraction tells the fascinating story of the town as seen through the eyes of Ms. Paws the brewery cat and her eight feline ancestors. As the hands of the magic clock whirl backwards, prepare to take an unforgettable trip through nineteen life-like scenes, which recreate the sights, sounds and smells of six hundred years of history. Commentary available in English, French or German.
Portland Bill - For Tourist Information and an excellent introduction to Portlands environment and heritage, visit the Lighthouse Visitor Centre at Portland Bill and enjoy a guided tour of the Trinity House Lighthouse.
Museums - Weymouth and Portland has a huge amount of history both maritime, farming, military, rural and current. Visitors to Weymouth and Portland will find our museums make a great day out for all the family.
