HOME FROM HOME with all the home comforts in our gorgeous new privately owned 2 bedroom luxury fitted static caravan (33ft x 12ft) sleeps 4 + 2. Situated on Bigbury Bay Holiday Park, Challaborough Bay, South Devon, which is a privately owned site. Our holiday home is set on the hill-side, in a quiet secluded corner, overlooking Bigbury Bay.
CHALLABOROUGH BAY is a sheltered horse-shoe shaped cove with a Blue Flag sandy beach overlooking Burgh island (Inch Loss Island) with stunning sea views - you'll see why it provided so much inspiration for Agatha Christie. Beach facilities include toilets, mini supermarket, bar/restaurant, cafe/takeaway, refreshments and lifeguard cover during the summer months.
This Willerby Granada caravan has gas central heating and double glazing, fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detector and smoke alarm.
BEDROOMS - Comprising of 2 fitted bedrooms, 1 kingsize and 1 with twin beds, plenty of hanging space and lovely built in units. The main bedroom has an en-suite entrance to the bathroom, which is also accessible from the hallway.
BATHROOM - It has a good sized bathroom with thermostatic controlled shower and extractor fan, fitted ceramic basin and toilet.
LOUNGE - Very comfortable lounge area with feature fireplace. 'L Shaped' seating area incorporating a fold up double bed. Includes CD/radio stereo, freeview TV, DVD/video player. A feature bow window with additional side windows fills the open plan living space with natural light and provides a sea view from the comfortable seating area. There is a lovely dining area with a round table and four chairs.
KITCHEN - It comes with a well designed fully fitted kitchen complete with microwave, integrated full-sized fridge/freezer, combination oven with hob/grill and electric ignition, electric kettle, toaster, blender, all crockery, cooking utensils, herbs/spices, salt & pepper, everything you could possibly need to make your holiday enjoyable.
Upholstery and carpets in natural warm tones are complemented by contrasting luxurious soft furnishings and fabrics that give our caravan a real sense of opulence and luxury, elegant light fittings and beautifully decorated with our own personal items as we want you to be as comfy as possible.
With double-glazing and central heating, our holiday home is completely in tune with the tastes and demands of modern day living. The balanced combination of impressive exterior and comfortable interior of our holiday home promises you a holiday to remember with it's good standard of quality fittings throughout.
Bed linen provided (beds made on arrival), hand towel in bathroom (remember to bring beach towels), gas, heating, electricity and water are all included in the price. For your convenience we also provide 2 x tea towels, washing up liquid and toilet rolls. You will also find a vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, iron & small ironing board.
There is a launderette that can be used within walking distance.
There are plenty of books, magazines, games, DVD's, CD's and even some children's toys and books, etc in our holiday home. We have tried to kit out our lovely holiday home with plenty of things for everyone to do and make it as comfortable as we possibly can. We don't think you will be disappointed with what you find. There are also plenty of leaflets and maps showing places of interest within the South Devon area.
There is a small enclosed in garden with patio set outside and a bench.
There is also a children's play area on site.
One car only allowed next to the caravan but there is more parking at the end of each avenue.
THIS IS STRICTLY A NO SMOKING AND NO PETS HOLIDAY HOME.
CHALLABOROUGH BAY is ideally situated as a base for touring or walking South Devon, Dartmoor and the Plymouth area. There are lots of lovely sandy beaches plus a number of places of interest nearby.
THE SOUTH HAMS sits between the moors and the sea providing you with the best of South Devon’s rolling countryside and 60 miles of dramatic and ever-changing coastline.
There are six historic towns that collectively form The South Hams each with their own individual charm and unique characteristics; Dartmouth, Salcombe, Ivybridge, Totnes, Kingsbridge and Modbury. Meander along the pretty narrow streets and historic harbours and you will find a welcoming selection of gift shops, boutiques, galleries, restaurants and bars.
Stay on the coast and you will be greeted with an amazing selection of golden beaches and hidden coves. For the adventurous among us, water sports are available at many of the larger beaches while the smaller coves offer a peaceful retreat and are perfect for relaxing with a good book and a picnic.
DEPOSIT of 20% (non refundable) of the total price is required to secure your holiday.
The balance is due 4 weeks prior to the holiday OR if the booking is made less than 4 weeks prior to your holiday then total rent is required.
SATURDAY to SATURDAY is changeover day.
Short breaks (Friday to Monday) can be arranged if available but unfortunately not during July/August.
Prices start from £200 for 7 nights (Low season).
CAUTIONARY DEPOSIT of £80 - (This is a damages deposit, which we take with every booking to be paid with the balance. We will return this deposit to you within a few days after the end of your stay)
