Terms & Conditions
1. Pets:
We regret that we cannot accommodate pets and therefore these are not permitted in the caravan.
2. Age Limits:
No all male/female parties or mixed groups under 25 years allowed - families only.
3. Other Conditions:
Smoking is not permitted within the caravan.
4. EPS Leisure Caravan reserves the right to refuse any application for accommodation, without citing reasons, regardless of availability.
5. Only people named in the booking form will be allowed to stay in the accommodation; any alternatives must be notified, and agreed in writing to EPS Leisure Caravan.
6. DUVETS ON BEDS IN USE MUST BE COVERED, and parents are requested to bring rubber or waterproof sheets for young children.
7. Damage to accommodation must be advised to a member of staff, working on behalf of EPS Leisure Caravan before departure of the holiday period. EPS Leisure Caravan reserves the right to agree with holidaymaker at the point of time, charges for damage/breakages to accommodation and/or equipment supplied.
8. The Holidaymaker shall at all times maintain the property and its contents in a clean and tidy condition. The holidaymaker shall be liable to EPS Leisure Caravan for any loss, costs expenses or claims arising from any damage accidental or otherwise caused to the property and/or its contents by the holidaymaker or any person in his/her party. If as a result of such damage, the property or any of its contents need to be repaired or replaced then the holidaymaker shall be responsible for paying the reasonable cost of doing so. EPS Leisure Caravan reserves the right to charge extra cleaning charges where a property is left in an unacceptable condition. The holidaymaker should never leave any entrance doors open, or leave windows open when the property is unoccupied or cause annoyance or become a nuisance to occupants of adjoining premises, whether holiday homes or not. The holidaymaker shall permit the EPS Leisure Caravan and the park manager reasonable access to the property for urgent repairs etc.
9. EPS Leisure Caravan is entitled to ask the holidaymaker or the holiday’s party to leave the property without refund of monies if damage has been or is likely to be caused, or if the holidaymaker’s behavior is deemed to be unacceptable.
10. ALL CLIENTS MUST KEEP NOISE TO A LEVEL TOLERABLE BY NEIGHBOURS AT ALL TIMES.
11. Clothes may be dried on clothes airers that attach to caravan window. Washing lines or rotary dryers are not permitted.
12. We will not accept liability in respect of any loss or damage caused by weather conditions, flood, riot, war, strikes, or sickness of the holidaymaker or any member of his/her party.
13. Conditions and Safety of Accommodation:
All caravans are CORGI-tested for gas safety and passed for safe usage annually. All caravans are equipped with a battery-powered carbon monoxide detector in the lounge. The water heaters in all caravans have built-in carbon monoxide detectors which reduce and then cut off gas supply when carbon monoxide is detected. The electrical circuitry in all caravans is tested by an NICEIC-registered electrician annually. All electrical appliances provided are tested by an NICEIC-registered electrician annually.
14. Each unit are cleaned on the morning of your arrival. While every effort is made to ensure a pristine cleanliness in each case, all clients should alert the park reception if he/she feels that EPS Leisure Caravan has not attained this standard of cleanliness.
15. Accommodation:
Willerby Aspen 2001 37 x 12 3 beds, sleeps up to eight people.
Six or seven people use a three bedroom unit, seventh and eighth will have to sleep on sofa bed.
16. Applications for Accommodation:
Your holiday will only be booked if it is still available on receipt of booking form and deposit. Your deposit will be returned in the event of unavailability. EPS Leisure Caravan reserves the right to offer alternatives after initial reservation, subject to prior 5 working days notice in writing, and the option of a full refund of all sums paid if cancellation is preferred by the holidaymaker. EPS Leisure Caravan reserves the right to refuse any application for accommodation, without citing reasons, regardless of availability.
17. EPS Leisure Caravan shall be allowed access to the holiday accommodation at any reasonable time for essential maintenance. If possible, this will be by prior arrangement.
18. Refund for Cancelled Reservations:
FULL PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED 7 DAYS BEFORE ACTUAL BOOKING DATE IF NOT ALL MONIES WILL BE LOST. ONCE PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED A RECEIPTED INVOICE WILL BE SENT. SHOULD YOU CANCEL WITHIN 9 WORKING DAYS OF THE BOOKING NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED. CANCELLATIONS MADE BETWEEN 10 AND 15 DAYS OF THE BOOKING WILL ATTRACT A 25% ADMINISTRATION FEE.
A returnable deposit of 20% is payable on reservation and the hire charge payable 28 days prior to the hire date if by personal cheque or 21 days if by credit/debit card. Deposit is refundable provided the caravan is kept clean and undamaged. Failure to keep to these terms could result in forfeiting the deposit. All refunds will be issued after inspecting and cleaning of the caravan has taken place.
19. EPS LEISURE CARAVAN REGRETS THAT PAYMENTS CAN ONLY BE REIMBURSED FOR CANCELLATION IF ANOTHER HOLIDAYMAKER ‘TAKES UP’ THE RESERVATION. IN ORDER TO ENSURE REIMBURSEMENT IN THE EVENT OF ANY INCAPACITY, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT ALL HOLIDAYMAKERS PURCHASE A HOLIDAY INSURANCE POLICY WHICH CAN BE OBTAINED FROM ANY REPUTABLE INSURANCE BROKER. EXPERIENCE SHOWS THAT CANCELLED BOOKINGS ARE HIGHLY LIKELY TO BE RE-BOOKED IN THE SUMMER, (SO ENABLING EPS LEISURE CARAVAN TO RETURN PAYMENTS), WHEREAS IN THE SPRING AND AUTUMN THERE IS A LOW PROBABILITY OF TAKE-UP.
20. All accommodation is fully equipped, but you will need to bring the following with you: towels, tea towels & toilet paper.
21. Arrivals and Facilities:
We strongly advise that each party has a vehicle, (preferably no larger than an MPV, seven seater), as public transport from the site to Great Yarmouth is non existent. THE FACILITIES AVAILABLE IN HOPTON ARE: OFF-LICENSE, LAUNDRETTE, MINI MARKET, GIFT SHOP, FISH ‘N’ CHIPS, CHINESE RESTURANT, KIDS AND ADULTS ACTIVITIES, PLUS MANY MORE. ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOMMODATION CANNOT BE MADE PRIOR TO 10:00 am ON DAY OF ARRIVAL, AS YOUR ACCOMMODATION NEEDS TO BE PREPARED FOR YOU! Please advise if you intend to arrive at any time before 14:00 hrs or after 17:00 hrs on the day of arrival, call-out fee of £5.88 inc. VAT is chargeable
22. Tenancies commence from 14.00 hrs on the day of arrival and terminate at 13.00 hrs on the day of departure. If holiday maker is unable to arrive on the first day of the booking, or has to leave before the final day of the booking, the holiday maker must notify a member of EPS staff. There is no refund for premature departures
23. Following Items Must Be Vetted:
CHIP PANS: Pans used for chips must be heated electrically: that is, they must not be designed for use on a gas or electric hob. Electric chip pans must be equipped with a working thermostatic cut-out, and should not be more than three years old.
BARBECUES: Used barbecues, particularly disposable barbecues, must NEVER be placed beneath a caravan.
ELECTRIC BLANKETS: Electric blankets must not be more than four years old, and must be correctly and safely plugged.
24. Lost Property:
Lost/left property will be retained for no more than fourteen days after departure of holidaymaker. No contact will be made with holidaymaker regarding his/her lost or left property. Holidaymaker is responsible for advising EPS Leisure Caravan that he/she has lost and/or left property belonging to him/her. Holidaymaker must pay packing and delivery charges before lost/left property will be returned. If holidaymaker has not laid claim to his/her property within fourteen days of departure, property will be disposed of for charitable purposes, or thrown away, depending on state and condition of property. Baggage is at owners risk at all times. We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any car or its contents or for loss or damage by or to third persons.
25. Ball games are to be played on the designated areas and not between caravans.
26. Credit Card:
Submission of a signed booking form or telephone booking paid by credit card will be deemed to be acceptance of these conditions and confirmation of the details and conditions of the booking form.
The information you provide will be held under Data Protection Act 1998 and will be used by EPS Leisure Caravan.
