"Driftwood" is a privately owned, 3 bedroom caravan on a quiet, relaxed site at Par Sands Holiday Park on St Austell Bay. The Park is located on a nature reserve with its own wildlife lake and is just a few minutes level walk from the safe, sandy beach. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool (free passes provided), 2 x children's playgrounds and a games room. Also available on site for a small charge are crazy golf, tennis courts and bowling green. There is a bike hire outlet, a laundrette and a shop also on site. The beach is a five minute level walk and the the coast path is just a few metres away. Parking is free and there is ample space to park your car adjacent to the caravan.
The beach at Par is backed by sand dunes, with miles of sand when the tide is out (and a good expanse of sand even when the tide is right in). The Ship Inn, which serves good food and has a large garden, is a short walk away from the Park, The village of Par is also close by and has a number of pubs and shops as well as a couple of mini-markets. There are a number of major supermarkets open 24 hours on the outskirts of St Austell.
Approximately 4 miles from the Park is the world renowned Eden Project. Also nearby are the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charlestown historic harbour - where you can see the tall ships - Mevagissey and the National Trust House at Lanhydrock.
A couple of miles along the coast from Par is the lovely old town of Fowey with its myriad of pubs, restaurants and cafes, Take a boat trip from one of the quays, stroll around the winding lanes, or just sit and watch the world go by.
The caravan itself is 4 years old and has been totally smoke and pet free since new. It is clean, cosy, comfortable and well equipped. There are three bedrooms; one double and two twin rooms - all with individual heaters. A hair dryer is provided and we make up the beds ready for arrival. HOWEVER, YOU DO NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS.
The modern fitted kitchen has a full size cooker, fridge and microwave, while the dining area has a large round table and seating. The lounge is light and airy with plenty of space and very cosy with comfy cushions, side lamps and a gas fire in case the evening gets chilly. There is a TV/VCR and CD/Radio. The shower room has WC, hand basin and a full size shower cubicle. There is a lawned area to the back and side of the caravan where you can sit out on sunny days. Garden furniture is provided.
More than a third of our lettings this year have been repeat visitors so we feel sure you will enjoy your holiday with us.
We will arrange to meet you on site to hand over the keys and show you to your accommodation.
Regretfully WE DO NOT ACCEPT PETS AND SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED in the caravan.
