Mid Wales, PenygodorOur caravan is located in private farmland overlooking the Vyrnwy valley in the heart of Mid Wales. The caravan has been recently purchased and has been newly kitted out with all the usual modern conveniences such as a fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, colour TV with Freeview, DVD Player, Radio, patio furniture and more! The caravan sleeps up to 6 people and duvets and pillows are included although guests are requested to bring their own sheets, pillow cases, towels, tea towels and other personal items.
The caravan itself consists of a spacious living room with built in cupboards and a gas fire. This is where the TV, DVD player, radio and a selection of games can be found to entertain you during your visit. There is also additional space in this room for another double bed to be made up, enabling up to 6 people to stay in the caravan at one time. In addition there is an ample sized dining room table plenty big enough for a family to sit and eat around. There is a separate kitchen, complete with a brand new fridge with freezer compartment, an oven/grill, microwave, toaster, sandwich toaster and plenty of pots, crockery and cutlery to match anyone’s kitchens expectations. The rest of the caravan consists of one twin bedroom with a third bunk, the double master bedroom, and a shower room, toilet and sink. There is plenty of storage space throughout the caravan for all those suitcases and other belongings and outside there is plenty of room for at least two cars and still room left over for leisure. Outside the main front windows of the caravan a patio has been constructed for our guests pleasure, and patio furniture is provided for those quiet sultry evenings looking out at our beautiful view.
One of the main attractions of our holiday caravan is its position high up on the Welsh hills of Mid Wales with beautiful panoramic views of unspoilt countryside. If you want quiet walks or long hikes up the Welsh mountains then come to Penygodor for a holiday with a difference. Other attractions that may be of interest in the surrounding area include Bala Lake where fishing, sailing and boating are the main pursuits, Llanrhaedr waterfall (one of the seven wonders of Wales), and Lake Vyrnwy with its 12 mile surrounding road, ideal for cyclists whatever their ability. The Berwyn mountain range is a site to behold and the nearest beaches are only around 50 miles away. Local villages include Llansantffraid and Llanfyllin which between them provide garages, newsagents, convenience stores, hairdressers, cafes, restaurants, furniture shops, leisure centre and much more. Slightly further afield are our nearest towns of Oswestry and Welshpool and then half an hour or so down the road Shrewsbury can be found.

As this is a new venture, prices to rent our caravan for a week start as low as £180 but guests are welcome to stay for just a weekend or longer breaks. A deposit of £50 is requested prior to your arrival
