Within walking distance:- Miles of beach, 10,000yr old sunken forest. In the village shops selling everything from Beachwear and Buckets to Wetsuits and Wetwipes.
2 mini-supermarkets, enough pubs for a pub crawl, a Butcher (beautiful meat and all the makings for a beach BBQ or Picnic), Animalarium and numerous nicnac shops.
By car:- Ynyslas beach and boardwalk through the dunes, Sunday market (Clarach Bay or Trerdol), Wednesday market (Machynlleth), The Centre for Alternative Technology, Tal-y-llyn steam railway, Vale of Rheidol steam railway and many many more attractions to suit all ages.
