Mid Wales, Wern FarmComfortable 35x10 two bedroom caravan located on a private smallholding in quiet scenic Mid Wales.
Nearest civilization Rhayader and Llandrindod Wells.
Within easy distance of the Elan Valley Dams and the Royal Welsh Showground.
Ideal base for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders.
The caravan is equipped with gas cooker, heater, refrigerator and microwave oven.
Bedrooms: one with two single beds and wardrobe while the main room has double bed, dressing table, wardrobe and is en-suite with the bathroom.
Linen is provided for the bedrooms but you will need your own linen and blankets if you wish to use the lounge bed to accommodate an extra 2 persons (only).
Bathroom with wash-basin and shower/bath. Separate toilet and wash-basin.
The living and dining area is comfortably furnished and provides a very congenial roomy living space with attractive views of the surrounding hills.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control.
For clients wishing to bring their horses to explore the trails in the area, we can also provide turn-out.
Smoking is banned anywhere on the property.
Area attractions include:
Gigrin Farm Red Kite Feeding Centre
Elan Valley Estate with Visitor Centre.
Abbey-Cwm-Hir Forest.
Gilfach Nature Reserve
In Rhayader there is the Welsh Royal Crystal factory open to visitors for demonstrations.
Also in Rhayader is a centre for Pony Trekking on trails in the Elan Valley.
Not too distant is the Centre for Alternative Technology at Machynlleth and many of Wales’s other attractions, the Brecon Beacons or Powys Castle for example, are within acceptable driving distance.
