Moorlands is only a 10 min walk from Pocklington, where you can visit Burnby Hall Gardens and see the most famous collection of water lilies in Europe. The town boasts a cinema, several public houses and cafes. There are also Italian, Indian, Chinese and English restaurants, plus two fish and chip shops and a Chinese take away. There is also a swimming pool and leisure activities centre in the town. There are many villages around that also offer good eating.
12' X 35' X 3 bedroom static caravan with heating in all bedrooms, shower and toilet. It has a T.V., kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, and cooker. Quilts and pillows are provided.

There are some nice picturesque walks around Millington, Kilnwick Percy (Wolds Way), Bishop Wilton and Allerthorpe Common to name a few.
Historic York is only a 20 min car journey away, also accessible by bus.
Beverley market town is a 20min car journey to the east. There are some quaint shops and bistros as well as a beautiful Minster, or enjoy a day at the races.
In 45mins to the north east you will find some of the prettiest coastline in the North of England. This includes Bempton Cliffs with their famous puffins and Whitby is a fantastic area for dolphin and whale spotting during the summer months.
To the north you are 30 mins away from Malton, a small market town, with its many racehorse stables. From there you are only 20 mins away from the wonderful North Yorkshire Moors, complete with its steam railway. Take a ride on the train from Pickering to Whitby or enter the world of Heartbeat of ITV fame by visiting Goathland.
